B.S. Anangpuria Institute of Technology & Management organized an HR Conclave on 5th March 2021 from 11:00 am onwards on “Industry Readiness in the Present New Normal” in collaboration with ICT Academy. ICT Academy is an initiative of the Government of India in collaboration with the state governments and industries. ICT Academy is a not-for-profit society, the first-of-its-kind pioneer venture under the Public-Private-Partnership (PPP) model. The Society endeavors to train the higher education teachers and students to help them grow into next-generation teachers and industry-ready students.
This time the event was organized for the students for their development and empowerment. The event started with a keynote speech by Prof. (Dr.) Roop Krishen Khar, Director-BSAITM, who wholeheartedly welcomed all the speakers. Prof. Khar expressed his concern over the growing need for students’ skill development, entrepreneurship development, youth empowerment, industry-institute interaction, and digital empowerment. He also opined that we must do our level best to provide multi-disciplinary services to every stakeholder of the education system in developing the coming generations and making them industry-ready technocrats and managers.
The Conclave began with a talk by Mr. Sharath Babu, Director-Product Development, Oracle. He has got 23 years of established track record in successful product development, delivery management, and handling cross-functional responsibilities. Mr. Sharath Babu expressed his views on the present scenario and how the organizations can sustain with effective cloud implementation and technology solution & development.
Mr. Pankaj Kakkar was invited next on the virtual platform. Mr. Kakkar is associated with Waste Management in the capacity of Principal Technical Analyst. He has got extensive experience in spearheading pre-sales and solution designing. He spoke outstandingly on how to judiciously use the resources by doing an effective requirement analysis.
Next came Mr. Jyoti Narain, who is the Director, Amity Software Systems Ltd., and a renowned transformational coach. Mr. Narain spoke energetically on different innovating strategies which could be adopted for the multi-disciplinary growth in the organizations as well as industries.
More than 200 students actively participated in the Power Seminar, which was conducted on the Microsoft Teams Platform. The event was hosted and coordinated by Dr. Bharti Kukreja, Associate Prof. (English).
At last, the Vote of thanks was proposed by Prof. Gaurav Kansal, HoD (ME) and convener of the event, who wholeheartedly expressed his gratitude to all the dignitaries for sparing their precious time out of their busy schedules and enlightened the students with their innovative ideas.
